Spring class schedule

Today was orientation, advisement, and registration at MCC. This resulted in the following:

• A few hours of skits, lectures, advice, etc from various folks and peer leaders.
• A tour of the campus.
• A lunch.
• A mentalist. Yes, one of those mind-reading motivational speakers. One of those great situations where I know I'm being hoodwinked, but I have no idea how.
• Another hour of lecture and advice.
• A parking ticket for $5, which shall be contested!
• A trip to the office to unclog a router.
• A trip back to MCC for advisement and registration.

All in all, a productive and informative day. I still need to go back for my student ID (alas, they can't issue a student ID until you've registered for classes and I can't register for classes without advisement since this is my first semester, and... well, you know how it goes).

The advisement was a good idea -- I was planning on taking MTH 104 w/ MTH 099 lab, but as it turns out, MTH 098 has a more favorable migration path to MTH 140, via MTH 135. I've already reg'd for MTH 135 for the summer term, since there's exactly one section and it's the exact time I want.

Anyway, here's my schedule for this semester. Not too much, but I work full-time and don't have financial aid yet, so that's what I get.
